Haunted Bell Witch Cave

I have known about the Bell Witch legend for quite a long time, but until today, I've never heard of the Haunted Bell Witch Cave. Actually, I don't know how I missed that one, but I just read about it a few minutes ago, nonetheless. The legend of the Bell Witch goes way back. Most of the events supposedly took place from 1817 to 1821. Even Andrew Jackson, the President of the United States (not long after that time period), was quoted saying: "I would rather face the whole British army, than face the Bell Witch again!" One of the witch's famous quotes is: "I am a Spirit from everywhere, Heaven, Hell the Earth; am in the air, in houses, any place at any time, have been created millions of years; that is all I will tell you." Of course, that last quote was assuming that this spirit existed and actually said that. By that ghostly comment, it sounds like she called Earth, uh, Hell, so maybe she is onto something. LOL!

It is a very interesting story, regardless if there is any truth to it or not. I own the movie entitled "The Bell Witch Haunting," which is suppose to be based on a true story. It is a low-budget film, which is another reason why I liked it. The movie didn't have all of these special effects and it wasn't trying to do anything fancy other than just letting the plot roll out according to the legend. If you are interested, you'll just have to search online for this film; ha! I think the movie was made around 2004 or thereabouts.

The bottom line is that this cave sounds cool. Have any of y'all ever been to this haunted cave?

Red-haired Giants of Lovelock Cave

This is such an interesting subject. How many of y'all believe that there were giant humanoid creatures roaming around the Earth thousands of years ago? I've heard many tales and legends that have spoke about races involving 8 to 12 feet tall people, and so on, but how much of that is true? Well, there has supposedly been some evidence unearthed before, even though it is rarely talked about and often classified as ancient myths, etc. Personally, it is hard to imagine that there hasn't been several races of giants throughout Earth's existence. Life has started and ended way too many times on this planet for me to rule it out. Now, were big ape men riding on the back of dinosaurs back then? LOL! Well, I didn't say that, but the notion of pre-historic giant people is entertaining to think about. But let's not go that far back into history right now...

Instead of searching for all of the extra tidbits and various stories ranging from old legends to New-Age beliefs, I just did a quick search on one of the more popular races of extremely large bipedal creatures: the Red-haired Giants of Lovelock Cave. Many Native American tribes have similar stories about the red-haired giants and how they had their fair share of battles with them, etc. I've read before that their initial encounter with them occurred somewhere around 15,000 years ago. This same type of giant has also been mentioned by the Aztecs along with the Mayans. The burial sites of these crazed beasts have been claimed on almost every continent. Just who were these red-haired freaks that were supposedly unearthed in Nevada, Arizona, New York State, Tennessee, and Virginia?

Aquatic Ape Theory - Mermaids Gone Wild

I've been hearing a lot more about mermaids the last year and a half or so, especially since the Animal Planet first aired the show "Mermaids: The Body Found." I actually missed that show, but I heard all about it. Well, tonight the Animal Planet had a show that sort of acted as a sequel to that, called "Mermaids: New Evidence" or something like that. I'm not a big fan of television nowadays, so I might not be totally accurate on my TV titles, etc. Anyway, it was interesting to watch, nonetheless. They are trying to merge the lame "aquatic ape theory" (in actuality, it is a hypothesis) with their mermaids gone wild flicks. This theory/hypothesis involves human evolution, which deals with certain ancestors of modern humans that spent a great deal of time adapting to a semi-aquatic lifestyle. During the show, they used weak aspects like saying humans are the only mammals that can hold their breath for a long time like dolphins and how we still have traces of webbed hands. I find that odd, for me anyway, because my large hands are far from being webbed; I can't hold my breath for several minutes and when I get in water, I act as a sinker, and I also suck at swimming. Then again, I'm a so-called extraterrestrial so I guess I don't count, blah! LOL!

Anyway, back to this Mermaids Gone Wild thingy... They did have some interesting video footage (not the computer-generated crap). One of the coolest videos was shot not too far off the coast of Greenland. There was another coast guard flick, and another involving a cell phone video camera. I don't know how many of y'all seen that show tonight, but I like how toward the end of the show, they quickly ran a bunch of flashing credits talking about fictional characters, disclaimers, etc. Dang, who can tell what is real anymore? There is always the possible motives for better TV ratings, money and so on, involved. Concerning this subject, I can't rule out the possibility that there is some semi-humanoid swimming around with webbed hands and a wicked tail, especially since the ocean is so vast and we do discover new species of life all the time. Plus, there are so many myths & legends involving mermaids, it does make you wonder. However, they need to just drop that aquatic ape theory and just concentrate more on the live video footage and camera shots, even though they can be faked, as well.

After thinking about this, I guess a mermaid would have to jump up in a boat with a fisherman and have a conversation with him, for this to be proven. If they do exist, though, I doubt if they are pretty like they are often described in mythical tales. Plus, there would be wild mermen, as well. That's all we need when going boating or fishing, is some crazed merman that is mad at his mermaid while having ego issues and drinking like a fish; ha-ha!

Bermuda Triangle - Atlantis, Aliens or Metallic Haven?

Yeah, talk about a subject that has been covered a million times... I'm sure there are many people on here that have their diverse theories and whatnot, when concerning the Devil's Triangle - also known as the Bermuda Triangle - or maybe it is the other way around, but who cares, right?

I remember as a kid, studying about all this cool info I got from the TV show Unsolved Mysteries, etc. In case you are extremely young, that was way back when TV was still semi-real. Anyway, many ships and planes have sunken and vanished within this geographic area of mysterious magnetic pull. Some folks think the anomalies found here are due to all the metal from the lost city of Atlantis, albeit I wrote about it possibly being somewhere else, here: Lake Vostok - Mystery at Antarctica

Your guess is almost as good as mine, but either way, I'd enjoy hearing about your thoughts.
Most of us have heard about the compasses that go astray on the cruise ships and the pilot's instruments that go haywire while flying over this demonic triangle, but what about those underwater UFOs that fly in an upward fashion from this crazed region from this awesome vortex in our space-time continuum? The fun doesn't stop there, either, as a group of divers discovered a crystal pyramid deep below the surface from the Bermuda Triangle, a while back. Well, how they have dived that far down without dying or why they didn't have any real photographic evidence, is besides the point. I mean, if you saw a crystal pyramid with an angry ET sitting on top of it, would you stop for a Kodak moment?
So many questions and very few answers.
What do you think about this metallic haven full of sunken ships, invisible airplanes, aliens, and the lost city of Atlantis?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Regardless of the actuality, I'm not going near that place!
I don't currently own enough Metaphysical Moldavite to ward off the evil time travelers that dwell deep inside that triangle, so one must be cautious. Feel free to enlighten me, in the comment field below...

Update: After coming back to this blog a few years later to update, check for inactive links, and so on, I noticed how inadequate this particular post was. Normally, I would be more elaborate than this.  I just more or less started the subject and provided related links within it. I guess I was hoping the comment field would fill in the blanks. 

Either way, now that I think about it, there is no sense really elaborating about something that can't be proven one way or the other.  As for a metallic haven, the oceans are most likely full of wreckage throughout, in which there is no certain area of a mass collection of planes and ships, for example.  I assume that higher traffic areas may contain the most wreckage, but still, what is the mystery in that? 

In closure, to address the title of this post, a person would be better off (if they were interested in such things) individually researching strange ocean events, the lost city of Atlantis, and/or the boundless and elusive aliens (extraterrestrials) as opposed to the Bermuda Triangle. I don't know, maybe stick to octagons, squares or rectangles instead of triangles? Ha-ha! ---End of Update

The HAARP Conspiracy Theory

I'm sure many of you have heard about this particular conspiracy theory, while some of you may be saying "what is HAARP?"

Of course, there doesn't supposed to be any conspiracy involved with stuff like this, right? The official story that is commonly told to the public is:
The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is an ionospheric research program that is jointly funded by the US Navy, US Air Force, the University and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). They all say that the primary reason for such technology is to investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance purposes and, of course, to analyze the ionosphere during the process.

The heart of the conspiracy theories for HAARP consists of the ability for the government to control various aspects of the weather and certain conditions on Earth by using electromagnetic waves. This could include altering the climate and creating hurricanes, tornados, severe storms, earthquakes, volcanoes, etc., by way of their technology. Although a lot of the conspiracy theories are just baloney-filled nonsense that is dreamt up by hopeless losers that are stuck in their mom's basement, I will say that if a large group of people could control the weather, they would have some crazy power over this planet's inhabitants. I'm fairly sure there is this type of research being done, though. In fact, I've even read about planned projects to help with the melting ice caps (they need to hurry) and so on, but I don't know if they have reached the level of advancement that is required to activate volcanoes or cause massive earthquakes, yet.

If this power does exist at a higher level, I hope it is only used with good intentions. Ha! Yeah, who am I kidding... I must say, though, that the weather seems to be getting worse, more severe and erratic, year after year. I don't really go for this particular conspiracy theory, especially since climate change is real - regardless of your political affiliation or whether you credit global warming to humans or a natural solar cycle of planetary alignment within the cosmos.

On a side note, if the HAARP conspiracy is fueled by federal folks with this secretive knowledge and know-how, I bet they wished the weather would get better and more stable instead of worse.  I would come more believing a conspiracy that tries to make the weather better, not worse, in this case. I mean, seriously, take floods, hurricanes or other natural disasters, for example. A federal program called FEMA in this country (United States) has to dole out money all the time for victims of natural disasters.  Where does the money come from?  Okay, that question would be much better suited for another type of blog of mine. The point is, unless 'weather control' is weaponized for a damn good outcome, I see no reason to play the "weather God," even if it was possible.  Hey, where is Poseidon when you need him? Ha-ha!

What is up with the Nibiru / Planet X Conspiracy Theories?

I've been hearing about this magical rogue planet for years and years. I think the conspiracy theories have peaked out during the last 10 years or so, but what gives? This mysterious planet that supposedly wreaks havoc on Earth every so many thousands of years, is really getting old. Astronomers reject the idea of Nibiru, and have made efforts to inform the public that there is no threat to Earth from "Planet X," as they point out that such an object so close to Earth would be easily visible to the naked eye. Regardless of that, online theories continue to spread like wildfire.

The photos of Planet X are ridiculous, as well, as these conspiracy nuts think that Nibiru is constantly hiding behind the sun. That isn't even possible, due to its supposed oblong-like elliptical orbit that flies around two suns - one being from a distant solar system or whatever. What? Did it get behind our sun and just stop during the last 10 years or more? LOL! A planet such as Nibiru would create noticeable effects in the orbits of the outer planets. Most photos showing "Nibiru" by the Sun are due to a damn lens flare, and they even go to the extremes of taking pictures through red-colored filters, as if that is an actuality that portrays real life. LMAO!

Is it really possible that hordes of galactic barbarians really inhabit Planet X / Nibiru while living on a diet of frozen doughnuts? Do they have bad intentions and/or hate the Earth people now? Are they actually just a bunch of space monkeys that ultimately altered our DNA from dumb to dumber? Ha-ha! I'm an actual extraterrestrial that used to live on a planet that orbited the dying star of Betelgeuse, so please take heed to anything I say of this nature. Nibiru consists of a bunch of wannabe imbeciles, and their hopes of life via geothermal heating envies and/or "tries" to rival one of Jupiter's moons. Yeah, tell them to go to hell! Ha!

Where did the story of Atlantis really come from?

This is a classic tale, legend, and/or myth. The story of the "Lost City of Atlantis" has been around for a very long time. Most people generally say that this was all dreamed up by Plato. According to Plato's account, Atlantis once occupied a large land west of the Strait of Gibraltar. Plato spoke of an advanced race that was wealthy in food and supplies as well as technology. He also went on to mention that the people of Atlantis could wipe out any army known to man, more or less.

However, Plato said that he got the story from Socrates, who heard it from Solon, who was told the story by the ancient Egyptians. Oh, dear... Something tells me that the story changed a great deal before Plato got a hold of it; ha! Okay, now take the story of Atlantis from there, from where Plato had it, regardless of if he made it up or not. Over the years, I have heard various versions, all changing to better suit the time, place, condition, and the actual storyteller at hand. I've heard variations from supposed prophets and even from people like Edgar Cayce, for yet another example. I have heard that the lost city of Atlantis sank close to the Bermuda Triangle all the way down to Lake Vostok in Antarctica. Wow! I have heard of it consisting of mythical Gods all the way down to an intellectual race of extraterrestrials that took advantage of crystal technology.

Do I think that advanced races of beings once lived on this lovely blue planet for a short while before they vanished? Yes. Do I think the story of Atlantis is accurate? No.

Fact or Myth: Ancient Egyptian Electricity

I've been studying this subject for a while this afternoon, and as much as I'd like to claim that the ancient Egyptians had electrical devices and/or advanced technology that involved electricity, I can't. I'm not saying that I don't believe that there was an advanced civilization(s) from long ago that once dwelled on this planet before ultimately destroying their selves or sunk like the story of Atlantis or perhaps left earth via advanced spaceships. None of that is important right now, as this subject is about if it's just a myth or an actual fact that the ancient Egyptians had electricity.

Anyway, I found a couple decent resources online that covered the primary possibilities and one of them had elaborate explanations why all of this is just a myth and was dreamed up by hopeful romantics, more or less. The first page/resource was obviously from a "believer" in ancient Egyptian electricity. Their page was called "Ancient Electricity - Top Ten Contenders." Out of their top 10, only a couple even remotely had a chance. Those were their sections that covered the "Baghdad Battery" and the "Electroplated Artifacts." This next resource is more elaborate and scientific. They cover the famous "no soot" concepts and the Baghdad battery impossibilities and much more. Oh, I almost forgot. One of the biggest subjects that this ancient electricity subject often spawns from, is the 'Dendera light' theory. The 'Dendera light' is a term used to describe a supposed ancient Egyptian electrical lighting technology depicted on three stone reliefs in the Hathor temple at the Dendera Temple complex located in Egypt. I also used it for the photo in this post. I've seen both sides of the interpretations from this depiction, and I'm yet to see how it represents ancient electricity. If you have followed many ancient carvings, drawings and hieroglyphics, you will know what I mean.

Now, back to the main subjects at hand. The Baghdad batteries just don't have enough juice, even if it was operational. The guy reconstructed one or more of these things and came to the conclusion that one 1-Watt bulb needs 40 of these ancient batteries per working day. Yeah, all for 1 watt! He also figured up that each worker would need a lamp with 10 workers per each site for 2 years and that it would equate to 292,000 batteries with a total weight of 584 tons! Then, if you factor in the 400 (or thereabouts) underground sites in Egypt, you would then need 116 million of these Baghdad batteries that would approximately weigh 233,600 freakin' tons! Think about all of the scrap iron and waste material that we would have to find nowadays, if they used those particular batteries to power light bulbs. Yikes! Anyway, just that mathematical reason alone, pretty much debunks the ancient battery notion, in my opinion.

Then you have the extremely popular "there was no soot" found deep inside some of these sites. Here's a quote from a famous material expert on this subject: "The absence of smoke-blackening in the tombs of the kings is also no difficult explanation. If olive-oil is used, there is very little smoke, and a suitable covering over the lamp, for which various methods readily suggest themselves, would very easily prevent carbon being deposited on the ceiling." In a thumbnail, even the author of that web page said: "There is soot, although the Egyptian lamps were almost sootless and even buildings in no need of artificial illumination contain soot. This whole argument is as wrong as an argument can be." Either way, this is by no means evidence for artificial lighting methods. By what I've read in the past, most of the chambers and passages in the Egyptian pyramids were built in open ditches anyway. They constructed this stuff in broad daylight! However, you have the right to believe whatever you want to believe. When it comes to ancient Egyptian electricity, fact or myth, I'll let you decide; cheers!

Metaphysical Offering Bowls

These things are so cool to look at - and use! If you are wondering how you would use them, I'll explain that in a minute. Anyway, back when I first started collecting various rocks, gemstones, crystals and metaphysical tools (just for decorative purposes), I stumbled upon some brass/copper offering bowls. Of course, they can hold anything you want to fill 'em with, but they are generally used for metaphysical rocks and relaxation methods. You simply buy (or find) tiny chips (or small rocks) of the metaphysical stones you desire and fill these offering bowls. I selected green stones for one of mine, and I use the other one for miscellaneous crystals, etc.

After you have your cool gems in there, you dip your fingers into the offering bowl and then slowly pull back while gently releasing the rocks and/or letting the stones fall from your hand and back into the bowl. Repeat this process over and over. It is actually fairly relaxing and suppose to help relieve stress, sort of like Chinese Medicine Balls without the balls. LOL! At any rate, I provided a couple pics of these offering bowls, up above. Side Note: This is more or less a comment, but what's the difference? Anyway, it has been several years since I posted this, but I went back and was looking at all the traffic stats for each post on here.  Out of all the posts on this blog, there has only been 2 others that had less traffic than this one.  Actually, it was just 1 other post because the other one was the freaking Introduction post; ha!

I guess the only thing learned from this side note is that evidently not too many people out there are interested in metaphysical offering bowls.  I hardly even pay attention to ones I have these days.  I think they may be more appropriately called metaphysical "dust collecting" cups.  Hmm, maybe that is what these offering bowls really have to offer? Ha-ha!

Fairy Orb - Spirit Ball - Witch Ball

These cool hanging ornaments are called many things, but I selected the three most common names for the title: Witch Ball, Spirit Ball, and Fairy Orb. Anyway, when you hear the term 'witch' one may think it involves something negative, but the witch ball originated from groups of people with customary beliefs involving "good" witches. They were considered a blessing and these witches would usually "enchant" the balls, like the one shown here, to give it the properties it needed to ward off sinister spirits and to deflect nefarious intentions, negativity, evil spells, sickness, and so on.

These fairy orbs are traditionally blue or green and made from glass, although I found a wicked purple one several years ago. They can be many different colors and made from different material, but these are the most appealing in my opinion. These spirit balls are another thing that I would just buy for decorative purposes, but some people have them for their mythical, supernatural claims. Speaking of claims, some people think that today's ornamental Christmas balls that many folks hang from their Christmas tree, actually spawned from these fairy orbs or spirit/witch balls.

I would normally hang these from the ceiling, but for better lighting conditions, I moved it to a lower location for the photos. The 2nd pic is a close-up shot of this nifty little glass globe.
